THE CHALLENGE: The implementation of this equipment, which even being located in an industrial zone, has generated great neighbourhood opposition has led to a very complex management work. Both the environmental care through the placement of filters in the crematorium ovens and a strict control of emissions as well as the character of bright open space with outdoor garden areas and a careful interior design have contributed to finally making the result very well accepted by the community.
